![]() We can see history repeat itself in relation to wearables - iWatch, fitness bands, payment bands all coming together into once acceptable product. In a way, Apple successfully managed to bust the silo's that each of these functions were operating in, and grabbed the complete marketplace in one go. They were able to come out with an innovative product as apple was successfully able to bring together disparate customer journeys (taking a photo, making a phone call, browsing the web, social media, listening to music etc.) into one packaged product. It did so by bringing together various facets of peoples life together into a single, simplified device that overnight became the new norm. iPhones gave an experience that was unparalleled to anything available in the market place. To bring this argument to life, a few years back when the iPhones were launched, it revolutionised the market place because it gave the end customer something they didn't even know they wanted. ![]() Digital in the new world is all about simplification driven by need to provide an enriched customer experience which is dependent on designing an 'optimum customer journey.' #Customer journey is thus the cornerstone of a successful digital experience. ![]() #Digital transformation in my view is a natural evolution of technology to meet the evolving needs and expectations of today's generation. ![]()
